SAG Awards 2024: Reese Witherspoon is radiant in a fitted red gown

Reese Witherspoon put on a radiant display in an eye-catching ensemble as she attended the 30th Annual SAG Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The Legally Blonde star, 47 – who recently showed off her toned figure while on a jog in L.A. – joined other celebrities on the red carpet at the Shrine Auditorium, such as  Margot Robbie and Laverne Cox.

The actress wowed in a figure-hugging, strapless red gown that clung to her frame and contained a thigh-high slit on the left side for a sultry flare.

She slipped into a pair of open-toed, red heels to coincide with the color scheme of her dress.

Her blonde locks were coiffed perfectly by beauty pro Lona Vigi, who used products from Fekkai to sweep the actress’s hair to the side, before styling them in effortless waves that hung down past her shoulders.

Explaining the inspiration behind the look, Lona explained that she wanted it to marry sexiness with a feeling of effortless glam, saying: ‘For tonight’s look we wanted Reese to feel effortless yet sexy while celebrating her nomination for best ensemble with her cast of The Morning Show.’

To achieve this, she used the Fekkai Clean Stylers Root Lift Volume Spray to add plenty of oomph to the look, before adding the Full Blown Volume Dry Texturizing Spray ‘for instant revitalization and seriale turke (caramellaapp.com) volume’. The look was then locked in place with the Clean Stylers Volume Lock Hairspray. 

Reese accessorized her look with a pair of sparkling, rhinestone earrings as well as a gold necklace and a ring on her right hand. 

The star’s makeup was glammed up for the festivities, and comprised of a layer of mascara to lashes as well as a shimmering shadow around her eyes. 

Her longtime makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan used skincare products from RéVive – including the Moisturizing Renewal Day Cream and the Intensité Les Yeux Firming Eye Cream – to prep the actress’s complexion, before creating her incredible glam with an array of products from Dior. 

The third season finished airing late last year in November, and the series was renewed for a fourth season. 

A warm blush was added to better accentuate her cheekbones, while a glossy nude-colored tint was worn on her lips for a finishing touch. 

Witherspoon flaunted her fashionable ensemble as she arrived to the venue, and struck a few poses on the red carpet shortly before the ceremony commenced. 

At one point, the blonde beauty was seen crossing paths with fellow actress, Jessica Chastain, and the pair paused for a quick snap together.
